ADHD Discovery Series

Discover a holistic approach to ADHD management with May Health's 8-Week ADHD Discovery Series. Specifically crafted for South Australian adults, particularly those newly diagnosed with ADHD, this program integrates medical, psychological, and nutritional insights for a comprehensive approach. In addition to psychoeducation, the series includes group therapy and support elements to foster a well-rounded understanding and management of ADHD.

Obtaining A Referral

You do not need a referral to participate in this program; just a formal diagnosis of ADHD.

Medicare Rebate

A nominal Medicare rebate of $23.80 per session is available for the sessions facilitated by the psychologist. To access this rebate, you need to:

  1. Obtain a referral letter from a specialist or a mental health treatment plan and referral from a GP (group therapy item number 80120).
  2. Submit your Mental Health Treatment Plan and/or referral to May Health before the psychology sessions begin.

Please note, the rebate is only for sessions run by psychologists, not for GP or dietitian sessions. Medicare requires a minimum of four participants to attend each session for the rebate to apply. If attendance falls below this, we cannot guarantee the rebate.

Private Health Care

If you wish to access your private healthcare cover, please check with your provider if you are entitled to a rebate from your private health insurance policy.

Receipts will be issued for all sessions attended, regardless of whether a referral is in place.
