Referrals

May Health is a private mental health clinic providing assessment, intervention, and education services for individuals and families across all stages of life. Our services are delivered by medical and allied health practitioners working across five divisions:

• May Medical

• May Psychology

• May Assessment

• May Education & Training

• May Digital

Referrals are most commonly received from medical, allied health, and education professionals. When a patient’s presentation and treatment needs are clear, referrals can be directed to a specific division or clinician. When needs are less defined, referrals may be made to May Health for triage and allocation to an appropriate practitioner or service.

May Health accepts referrals for a broad range of mental health presentations, including:

• Anxiety

• Depression

• Stress (e.g. work or relationship concerns)

• Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder

• Personality Disorder

• Eating Disorder

• ADHD (individual care and group programs)

• Parenting concerns (including perinatal presentations and postnatal depression)

• Personal insight and self-development

Most patients are eligible for rebates through Medicare, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), or Private Health Insurance. Please note that May Health does not offer bulk-billing.

May Education & Training and May Digital do not receive direct patient referrals; however, enquiries are welcome. For further information, please refer to the relevant sections of our website or contact our administrative team.
