At May Health, we take mental health and wellbeing seriously — not only in treatment, but in how we think, speak, teach, and share.

Our Education & Training service area supports learning and professional development through education, training and professional supervision. We provide workshops, webinars, masterclasses, presentations, podcasts and other educational activities for health professionals and the wider community.

As an RACGP CPD Provider, May Health develops continuing professional development for GPs and other health professionals. We also provide professional supervision, including Board-approved supervision for psychologists undertaking the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program, professional and peer supervision for psychologists, peer supervision for GPs, and supervision for other mental health professionals where appropriate.

Our involvement in professional training also extends beyond May Health. Aaron Neaves is a faculty member of the INSIGHT Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Registrar Program, a two-year program for Clinical Psychology Registrars interested in developing their practice within a relational psychodynamic framework. Aaron provides Adelaide-based Board-approved supervision for registrars participating in the program.

Our education and training draws on academic research, clinical experience, and lived perspectives. We aim to present material in a balanced and considered way, creating space for thoughtful reflection and engagement with ideas that shape mental health practice and understanding.
