Aaron is Founder & Director of May Health and an experienced Clinical Psychologist.

Aaron Neaves is the Founder and Director of May Health, leading a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health clinicians dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care. As a Clinical Psychologist, Aaron is committed to promoting recovery, growth, and wellbeing through evidence-based and compassionate practice.

Aaron works with adults presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and stress-related issues. He also provides therapy for complex presentations such as personality disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and obsessive–compulsive disorder. His therapeutic approach ranges from brief, goal-oriented interventions to long-term psychotherapy addressing deeper relational and analytical themes.

Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Adelaide and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), including the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Throughout his career, Aaron has contributed to the field of psychology in a range of professional and public settings. He has been a regular guest on ABC Radio Adelaide, a host of the APS Clinical College podcast Clinically Thinking, and has served as the South Australian Chair of the APS Psychoanalytic Interest Group and the Headspace Northern Consortium. He continues to be invited to present at professional, community, and media events.

Private clients of Aaron are eligible for Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys time with his wife and three daughters. He is an enthusiastic tennis player, an avid reader, and an active supporter of the arts and humanities. His commitment to balance and curiosity continues to shape his approach to both life and clinical practice.
