Aaron Neaves

Director, Clinical Psychologist

Aaron is a Clinical Psychologist with particular interests in personality, relationships, self-understanding, and long-term psychological change.

Aaron is a Clinical Psychologist and the Founder and Director of May Health. He works with adults experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns and is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique circumstances and goals.

Aaron has particular interests in personality, relationships, self-understanding, and long-term psychological change. He enjoys helping people make sense of recurring patterns in their emotional lives, relationships, and sense of self, particularly when those patterns contribute to distress, conflict, or a feeling of being stuck.

His work spans both short-term and longer-term therapy and includes supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, self-criticism, relationship difficulties, personality-related challenges, trauma, obsessive-compulsive difficulties, and life transitions. Aaron values developing a deep understanding of each person’s experiences and works collaboratively to help individuals build greater insight, flexibility, and capacity for change.

Alongside his clinical work, Aaron leads May Health and is committed to building a multidisciplinary service that supports high-quality mental health care. He has contributed to professional education, supervision, and public discussion of mental health through presentations, teaching, media appearances, and professional leadership roles.

Aaron takes a warm, reflective, and collaborative approach to therapy. He believes that meaningful and lasting change often begins with understanding the patterns that shape our lives and relationships and is committed to helping people develop a richer understanding of themselves and others.
