Marta is a registered psychologist who supports adults with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship or family difficulties. She incorporates hypnosis into therapy where appropriate, using it as one of several tools to support insight and therapeutic progress. Marta’s approach emphasises helping people recognise their strengths and develop practical strategies to support personal growth. She also focuses on building emotional resources and developing skills that enhance wellbeing. Her work with adolescents includes support for anxiety, sleep difficulties, confidence, and resilience.
Marta provides trauma-focused therapy, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), to assist individuals in processing and managing the effects of traumatic experiences. She has worked extensively with people who have experienced emotional, physical, or sexual abuse in childhood. Her previous role as Chairperson of the Management Committee for a women’s domestic violence service also informs her work with individuals affected by domestic violence and abuse.
Marta is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). Eligible clients may access Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates.
