Indya supports children, adolescents, and families across a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns.
Indya Holt is a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Adelaide.
Indya works with children, adolescents, and families across a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns. She has particular interests in supporting young people with ADHD and Autism and takes a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach that recognises individual differences and promotes meaningful growth.
Prior to working as a therapist, Indya worked within the disability sector supporting children and adolescents to achieve their goals, build independence, and develop confidence in everyday life. She also worked closely alongside parents and families, providing support and guidance as they navigated the opportunities and challenges that can accompany raising a neurodivergent child. This experience continues to shape her collaborative and family-centred approach to care.
Indya supports young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, social challenges, self-esteem concerns, and family difficulties. She also values working alongside parents and caregivers, recognising the important role families play in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and development.
Indya aims to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where children, adolescents, and families feel heard, understood, and supported. She works collaboratively with young people and their families to strengthen relationships, build resilience, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.
Outside of work, Indya enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, staying active, and continuing to expand her knowledge and skills as a therapist.
