Tim Fischer is a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience providing tailored individual therapy for adults, supporting a wide range of mental health and wellbeing concerns.

Tim Fischer is a Clinical Psychologist with more than ten years’ experience supporting adults in individual psychotherapy to create meaningful and lasting change. Using a compassionate, collaborative approach tailored to each client, he works with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, identity issues, grief, and low self-esteem.

Drawing on a developmental perspective, Tim helps clients explore how early life experiences and past challenges influence present difficulties, building insight and fostering self-compassion. He provides a safe, reflective space that supports stronger interpersonal connections and personal growth.

Tim is also passionate about supporting parents and is a trained facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting program, helping caregivers navigate attachment, emotional regulation, and parenting challenges with clarity. He is committed to lifelong learning in psychotherapy, continuously refining his practice to empower clients with greater insight and resilience.

In addition to his role at May Health, Tim is a Clinical Supervisor and Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, where he leads a training clinic, teaches, and mentors psychologists on placement.
