With more than 20 years of experience in child and adolescent mental health, Jorja is a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a range of emotional and mental health concerns.
Throughout her career, Jorja has worked across diverse child and adolescent mental health settings, providing assessment, treatment, and ongoing support to young people and their families. Her experience includes individual and family-focused work, recognising the important role relationships and family systems play in supporting wellbeing and recovery.
Jorja values a collaborative and person-centred approach to care. She works alongside individuals and families to develop a shared understanding of their concerns, identify strengths and goals, and tailor support to each person’s unique circumstances and needs.
As an endorsed Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Jorja is qualified to undertake comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing care where appropriate. Her approach integrates therapeutic interventions, medication management, and family-focused care to support meaningful and lasting change.
Jorja has particular interests in working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as anxiety, mood and emotional difficulties, and trauma and attachment-related concerns.
