Karen is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience across the lifespan, specialising in anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal mental health, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessment.
Karen is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who works with individuals across the lifespan in areas including anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and perinatal mental health. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Clinical Hypnosis. Karen has a particular interest in the role of secure attachment relationships throughout life and a special focus on perinatal mental health.
Alongside her clinical work, Karen has been involved in the training and supervision of Masters students and early-career psychologists, and is passionate about supporting the growth and development of other professionals. She is also experienced in conducting psycho-educational and autism assessments.
Karen brings both warmth and enthusiasm to her practice, with a commitment to helping clients achieve psychological wellbeing. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, dragon boating, reading, and music. She values time with her family and is a proud new grandmother.
