Karen is a Clinical Psychologist with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. She works in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal mental health, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessment.
Karen is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who works with individuals across the lifespan in areas such as anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and perinatal mental health. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Clinical Hypnosis. Karen has a particular interest in attachment across the lifespan, with a focus on perinatal mental health.
Alongside her clinical work, Karen has been involved in the training and supervision of Masters students and early-career psychologists, supporting the development of other professionals. She is also experienced in conducting autism assessments.
Karen brings a warm and thoughtful approach to her work. Outside of practice, she enjoys swimming, dragon boating, reading, and music, and values time with her family. She is also a proud new grandmother.
