Hannah Oliver

Nurse Practitioner

Supporting adults with thoughtful, collaborative care, with particular interests in ADHD, women’s mental health, and perinatal wellbeing

Hannah is an endorsed Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience across adult and specialist perinatal mental health services. At May Health, she currently works primarily in ADHD assessment and related care. She also has longstanding interests in women’s mental health and perinatal wellbeing.

Through many years supporting women and families during pregnancy and the first year after birth, Hannah developed a strong interest in the ways hormones, neurodiversity, and major life transitions can influence mental health and wellbeing. She recognises that emotional wellbeing is shaped by many factors, including physical health, relationships, life experiences, and the demands of everyday life.

Hannah has a special interest in adult ADHD, particularly in women whose symptoms may have gone unrecognised for many years. She has completed Monash University’s ADHD in Adolescents and Adults: A Clinical Approach professional development program and is a member of the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA). She enjoys helping people make sense of longstanding challenges, better understand themselves and their experiences, and develop practical strategies that support lasting wellbeing.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Hannah provides comprehensive mental health assessment, evidence-based psychological strategies, medication management where appropriate, and ongoing support. She works collaboratively with clients to develop care that reflects their goals, strengths, and circumstances.

Hannah takes a warm, practical, and collaborative approach to care. She believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard and understood and aims to help people develop the knowledge, confidence, and strategies needed to support long-term wellbeing.
