Individual ADHD Support

At May Medical, we provide one-on-one ADHD care with our specialist mental health GPs. These doctors are highly experienced in ADHD management and have additional training in focused psychological strategies, allowing them to deliver both medical and therapeutic support in a single setting.

Your GP will work with you to address the areas of life most impacted by ADHD. Sessions may focus on organisation, attention, time management, emotional regulation, stress management, building routines, and navigating study or workplace demands. Our approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to your goals.

We offer longer consultation times to ensure your care is thorough and unhurried. The initial appointment is 60 minutes, and ongoing appointments are 30 minutes. Sessions are available in person at our North Adelaide clinic or via secure video consultation, with frequency arranged to suit your needs—weekly, fortnightly, or as agreed. All consultations take place in a calm, private environment designed specifically for mental health care.

With appropriate authority, our GPs can initiate and manage ADHD medication and provide targeted psychological strategies. Care at May Medical focuses exclusively on the ADHD aspect of your health. Your general medical needs should continue to be managed by your usual GP.

When you attend May Medical for ADHD care, you also gain access to the broader May Health network. This includes individual psychology, ADHD coaching, relationship counselling, and our premium multidisciplinary Adult ADHD Group Treatment Program. The network also provides assessment for common co-morbid conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disorders. This ensures you can combine medical treatment with a range of specialist therapeutic and diagnostic supports.
